As far back as I can remember, I’ve loved bread almost more than anything in the world. In fact, if you had looked up the definition of Carboholic in the dictionary, you were able to find my name and picture next to it!
I had tried countless diets over the past 30 years of my life, some were more successful than others, but none were successful for more than a few months. Inevitably, I would always put the the weight back on.
That all changed a little over 4 years ago when my son suggested I look into the ketogenic lifestyle. “You can basically eat what you want dad, you just have to cut the carbs” he told me. Since that time, I have lost and maintained over 100 lbs and have been taken off my blood pressure medication.
Naturally, being a lover of all things dough, I have devoted much of my time to testing and developing low carb alternatives of my favorite foods since embarking on the keto lifestyle.
